Minnesota Twins Outreach and Minnesota Timberwolves Open House

I conducted outreach at the third game of the Minnesota Twins/Boston Red Sox series. The Twins won!

I handed out a significant number of fliers before and after the game. There were many other groups and individuals handing out fliers as well. I did not get to go to the game.

Afterwards, I took the time to go to the Timberwolves open house. The Timberwolves opened the Target center to the public. Once inside, there was a dj and people could pretty much shoot hoops on an NBA court. It was a nice break from the day. I discovered I cannot sink a 3 point shot, but I figure there are more important things in life.

As some readers may recall, like many homeless people, I got a free ticket to the Timberwolves game during Xmas and also spoke to Conor Noonan of the Timberwolves about getting more tickets for homeless people.

I emailed Robert and Amanda at Simpson shelter to see if they could follow up on getting more tickets for homeless people. Nothing ever seemed to come of it.
