Food safety?

One credit hour toward Certified Food Manager Renewal.

I attended a one hour workshop on food safety at the library. Apparently, there is a problem where workers do not feel they can call in sick and get paid. There is some legislation up at the Minnesota capital on it. Apparently, people who do not show up for hourly jobs lose money if they don’t show up. The concern is they will show up sick and spread illnesses while preparing food in order to get paid.

BTW- wash your hands. Relying only on hand sanitizers is not enough.

Well, at least I learned something.
