I attended the Coleman inauguration in St. Paul last night. It was another opportunity to try to promote Dollhouse and save the show for Eliza Dushku.
Mayor Coleman remembered his step-mother in the speech, who was one of his inspirations and sadly passed away. Mayor Rybak also offered condolences to Mayor Coleman earlier in the day.
I ran into many other bloggers, media types, and organizers.
A few special notes, I spoke to Heather Riddle who is a big fan of Whedon. It’s always good to talk to fans of Whedon.
In any case, Christo’s restaraunt provided an excellent meal. It was gyros style lamb with bakklava for desert. Delicious. I’m not sure what the shelter was serving, but Christo’s was top flight.
In any case, Mayor Coleman knows how to throw a party. It was much more top flight than Mayor Rybak’s event in Minneapolis. Thank you to all who listened to my request to save Dollhouse.
