Hamline Events

I went to Hamline as an undergraduate so collecting signatures to save the Dollhouse there was very comfortable. Many things have changed. The eagles have been moved from the admissions house to Manor. Not sure why, but okay.

Somethings remain the same. This week the campus is focusing on the issue of being homeless. I used to be involved in the Shantytown projects at Hamline. I found those valuable experiences. Strange also in light of recent events. I just found out that Shantytown is probably not going on this year at Hamline!

I attended a forum on hunger and justice issues.

One interesting thing which was very was Sprout- a student group dedicated to gardening, food justice, urban agriculture, community inclusivity, and environmental justice. They are donating food they produce in community gardens to the Hamline Midway Elders.

In any event, there were quite a few Dollhouse fans on campus. I appreciated all the support and signatures.
